(we also played on some of the playground equipment but shhh-don’t tell anyone)  Today is a great day as well.  Beautiful days make my mood SO much better.  But with spring fever comes a worse case of senoritis.  It has been hard to get anything done this weekend but I’m trying my hardest. 

Lyon College is a great place to be in the spring.  We have flowers that are starting to bloom, trees starting to bud, and all kinds of places to sit and be outside.  I think I am going to take a blanket down to the Bryan Lake/pond today and see what I can get done on homework.  I’m a country girl and sometimes it is hard to be inside all the time doing work, school, or homework so any chance I get I am outside on a blanket.

If you enjoy the outdoors, there is nothing like an outting to Syllamo to make your weekend right. Next weekend, I plan on taking the next one of my excursions out near Mountain View to the Syllamo Bike Trails. Here there are several miles of scenic trails ranging from beginner to expert based on how mean of a ride you want. I’m looking forward to my descent of the Stairway to Heaven and hopefully fewer scars than last time. There’s always someone willing to go with you as many of XAS also make regular trips during biking season. So, if I’m not back by 5pm next Saturday, call Fish and Game to come find me out on the trails :).
